G2 - The Global Gujarati wins Asian award

"G2 The Global Gujarati", India's first lifestyle magazine for the Gujarati and Parsi communities has won the prestigious Asian Publishing Management award in the 'Best new launch of a local title' category for 2007. G2 won the award among 79 entries from the Asian continent and emerged a winner.

The grand presentation ceremony was held on August 3 at the Ball room of The Prince Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Mr. Devendra Darda, Publisher of "G2 - The Global Gujarati" and Executive Director of Lokmat Group of Newspapers, received the award. He said "It's a pleasure to receive an international award for our first magazine. Cymbal Media is committed to create world class publications.
