News18 Lokmat

Lokmat is the leader in the Marathi Newspaper segment in terms of both circulation and readership (Source ABC July – Dec 2014 and IRS 2012 Q4 respectively). We extended our media business to television through our 50-50 joint venture with IBN18 Broadcast Limited (“ibn18”). The joint venture company, IBN-Lokmat Private Limited (“IBNL”), operates News18 Lokmat, a 24 x 7 Marathi news and current affairs television channel which went on air on April 6, 2008.
